Located on the River Bure between the villages of Hoveton & Horning is Wroxham Broad, one of the largest and most popular broads in Norfolk. It is easily accessed by boat, so if you’re thinking of hiring a cruiser for a holiday or a day boat for a day of exploring the river ways, why not pay a visit to this scenic spot. You can enter one side of the broad and exit the other, so you can enjoy the views the broad has to offer without detouring from your travels too much. It’s also possible to access the broad by road, as there is a small private road that you can travel down, which will take you to a small pay & display car park, where you can park up & enjoy the beautiful views of the broad. There is a large grassy area here, which is ideal for picnics and some prime spots for fishing. The Norfolk Broads Yacht Club is just next door, so there’s a good chance you will see some sailing during your visit.
